Miguel's has a friendly, family atmosphere, serving delicious and traditional Mexican cuisine at affordable prices.Miguel's Mexican Restaurant has a long history in Downeast Maine. Opened in the mid '80's in Bar Harbor, the restaurant quickly became a local's favorite, with the slogan: "Mexican Food so authentic you'll be afraid to drink the water." Back then, chipotles, poblanos and cilantro were not commonly seen ingredients and the proprietors had to search out these then rare things. Today we follow the same principles of the founders - making our guacamole and salsa fresh every day, buying local and organic whenever we can and using real Mexican ingredients to make real Mexican food. Enjoy heaping platters of Smothered Nachos, Hot Shot Jalapenos and authentic Mexican entrees including Tacos al Carbon, Miguel's Escondida and fresh tossed Fajita and Tostada Salads. Kid's will love the Miguelito's Children's Menu. And don't forget the Fried Ice Cream for dessert!
Serving dinner from 4:30pm to close 7 days a week.
