Welcome to Cafe This Way, an exceptional dining experience in beautiful Bar Harbor, Maine. Artfully prepared meals are served in a setting as comfortable as your own living room, as relaxed as your front porch.

For breakfast you will find all the standards, plus some exciting alternatives such as Kit's Breakfast Burrito and Eggs Benedict with smoked trout. Strong coffee roasted by Carpe Diem and juice by Fresh Samantha, carafes of mimosas or house mixed Bloody Marys are available to round out your first meal of the day.

On the dinner menu, you will find innovative combinations of your favorite seafoods, meats and vegetables, complemented by an extensive and carefully selected wine, beer and spirit list.

Everything is prepared on-premise, with a keen eye for the beauty as well as the taste of excellent food. Lounge in the burgundy dining room near the woodstove or on the front porch beside the foxgloves and cosmos. Located slightly off the beaten path, the Cafe is a haven for locals and travelers alike.

great coffe, friendly service, superb breakfast menu

A very popular place for both breakfast and dinner in Bar Harbor. I have been for both. The atmosphere is very relaxed and friendly. I have been for breakfast, where I got french toast, as well as for dinner, where I got a Korean dish call Bibinbap. It was spicy and came out nice and hot. Unfortunately, our waitress was very busy and never came to refill our waters, despite her promising to "in just a moment" twice. We ended up getting up to refill our own on the other side of the restaurant. Finally, a waiter from another section attended to us (a party of 4, all our waters empty)
Besides having little attention paid to our table, I quite enjoyed the food and found the prices reasonable.
