We are happy to eat here if it is open when we are passing through. The food is like home-cooked and satisfying. The waitress/cashier has always been friendly and helpful. We like the casual '50s atmosphere and the chance to select a song from the jukebox. ( It is a cash-only restaurant, but has an ATM outside if needed. )

I was so excited to finally eat at the Brunswick Diner. The excitement left almost immediately. We entered the place and was met with blast of cold air from either direction due to the air conditioners being on full blast. It was about 72 outside. The waitress informed us she was having a hot flash. Not sure I needed to know that. My fiance and I ordered shakes--a diner favorite---only to be told the blender was broken. The waitress was very lax. She carried on conversations with local visitors in a rather unprofessional manner. The meal--when we were able to order and have the answer be "yes, we have it"--was just as disappointing as the service and cleanliness of the place. The only thing I can say is the eggs were cooked perfectly, but the rest left much to be desired. I had wanted to go in for a long time and now I know that I will not go in again unless it changes hands again.

Haven't been here in years. The food was OK, but the service was dependably awful - and awful with attitude. For breakfast, drive to Topsham for Fairground Cafe, Kopper Kettle, Barn Door Cafe.
