Took the family for breakfast and it was not as good as so many people say. The breakfast was mediocre at best. We requested chocolate chip pancakes for the kids and we got pancakes with chocolate chips on the side. waitress told us that the grill gets to sticky but it is not the same with out the chocolate chips in the batter. waitress was ok, nothing to write about. Drive buy a lot and see these long lines. Glad we did not get in a long line for mediocre food and service. The breakfast is 3 stars at best.

Bought a Restaurant.com coupon for this place. She said they never sold \$50 certificates even though I was showing it to her with her logo on it. Total scam. She was rude and hostile, yelling at me for bringing it in. Then went complaining to all her employees in the kitchen loud enough for the whole place to hear. Poor customer service. They also make you tip 18% before you are served in cash and you have to order at the window. Bad experience for sure.

We've got a fantastic article about Franco-American food in Maine in the April issue of Portland Magazine that we want to share with you. We mention Two Rivers Lunch.

We're a food-crazy border state, so where are the starry Franco-American restaurants?

Everyone knows poutine, the retro pile-up of french fries, gravy, and cheese curds. The hearty Canadian treat has rocketed into the wider foodie-sphere and can be found all around Portland, including in a few fancy iterations like the East Ender's lobster poutine and Duckfat's silken version with local cheese curds and duck gravy.

I love the renovations of the building.

5 stars means EXTRAordinary. Mass-produced frozen (and then microwaved) food cannot be extraordinary. This might be a good place to take the kids, but a national chain can't get more than 3 stars...(4 stars as a stretch).
